In the early 1900’s, Forest Hill was Australia’s largest produce distribution centre for Onions, Pumpkins, Beetroot, Carrots and Cotton. Silos were built to house grains and Lucerne.

From the earliest records to present-day, farmers have overcome the extreme weather conditions and other economic factors to remain viable and competitive.
